Our commitment

Moonlite Montessori Academy wants every family to be able to use this website comfortably, regardless of ability or the technology they use to browse it. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines across the site.

What we've built in

  • Keyboard-operable navigation, forms and photo gallery, including a keyboard-accessible photo viewer with Escape to close and arrow keys to move between photos.
  • A "Skip to main content" link for keyboard and screen reader users.
  • Descriptive alt text on meaningful images, and decorative images hidden from assistive technology.
  • Clear form labels, inline validation messages, and error states announced to screen readers.
  • Respect for the "reduce motion" setting in your operating system or browser.
  • Visible focus outlines for anyone navigating by keyboard.
